Executive Director
I have three decades of experience in senior conservation and natural resources management positions, including twenty year of experience lobbying on the Farm Bill and working with farmers and ranchers to improve conservation on private lands.
I currently serve Iowa farmers as the Executive Director of the Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance, helping to increase the pace and scale of farmer-led efforts to improve water quality. IAWA was founded by three of Iowa's leading agricultural associations - Iowa Corn, the Iowa Soybean Association and the Iowa Pork Producers Association.
Prior to IAWA, I helped launch the agriculture program for The Nature Conservancy, serving as North America Agriculture Program Director. I'm passionate about helping farmers improve their profitability while improving environmental outcomes, such as water quality, soil health, soil conservation, carbon sequestration, biodiversity and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
